Our Values

PGC is an organization that:

Mission
To advance the creative rights and interests of professional Canadian playwrights, promote Canadian plays nationally and internationally, and foster an active, evolving community of writers for the stage.

Main Activities

Playwrights Guild of Canada (PGC) is a national arts service organization for playwrights in Canada. We offer over twenty-five programs that encourage pluralism, promotion, and the protection of playwrights’ rights and their work. We also provide many opportunities for the public to access, explore, and enjoy the work of Canadian playwrights.
