BASD is an NGO in public benefit – a part of network of research organizations, regional agencies, institutions in all Balkans and EU. Activities: Socio-economic and sustainable development; Applying, implementation and management of EU funded projects; Energy efficiency and energy renewable sources; Architecture; Activities related to development of the labor market, preservation of human resources and policies in this area, demographic trends, protecting human rights; lifelong learning, development of education and training; Arts and Culture; Social inclusion, social economy, social and health services; Regional development, cross-border, transnational, interregional cooperation; Tourism, Rural Development; BASD have: Experts in training, research, innovations, needs analyses; awareness raising and networking. Member of Bulgarian platform for international development, Anna Lindh Foundation, Global Compact; affiliate of the Earth Charter. |

BASD have participated in: Hair.net Project – № UK/10/LLP-LdV/TOI-329:Hairdressing Advice (&) Internet Resources (for) National (&) European Training Duration – 1.10.2010 – 30.09.2012 Harmonization of VET; good practices from the UK; Mapping of NQF to EQF- the existing UK Training materials to the EQF. The project “Theater Caravan without borders”(№ALF/ CFP/ 2010/ ST2/ 186)Anna Lindh Foundation (02.2011 – 07.2011 a host of a performance and round table/debate after the performance; ALF/CFP/2012/MT1/226 – (10.2012 – 05.2013) Festival of Euromed Contemporary Arts “CultureVersusCrisis” (FEMCA CVC)- lead partner with organizations from Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Montenegro.With Municipality of Kovachevtsi, Bulgaria – 2007CB16IPO006-2011-2-104 Bridging Resources for Ecological and Art-based Development (BREAD) group trainings in making bread; promotional events of cultural heritage – Days of Bread in Bulgaria and Serbia, preservation and contemporary development of cultural traditions – promotion of sustainable lifestyle; creation of cultural networks Bread Houses; published Bread Booklet; joining young people to local cultures through arts; creation of information network and strategy for representing of the Bread Houses. The centers called Bread Houses encourage socio-cultural sustainable cross-border cooperation.
