Art Garden Ganja (AKA Xoyski Cafe) is an independent creative establishment formed by the young artistic community of Ganja, Azerbaijan. It was first launched in 2018 in Ganja as a small underground workshop and gallery, and has changed its physical location twice in the last 4 years. Now, it is based in one of the red brick houses Ganja is famous for. |
Main Activities |
Art Garden Ganja regularly organises fairs for local artisans, film screenings, live music, performances, seminars, workshops and exhibitions. In the hot months the focus is on gardening, outdoor meetings, mini-festivals, open air yoga lessons that take place in the inner orchard. Art Garden Ganja makes a lot of its events in cooperation with many local and foreign organizations. Quote: “Our goal in opening the space is to bring together creative people and those who are interested in art, to support them and create a healthy network. We also offer a platform to demonstrate skills and a gallery for handicrafts.” |
