The mission of the Associaci\u00f3 La Xixa Teatre is to facilitate the creation of empowerment spaces through Participatory Methodologies, Artistic Mediation, Process-Oriented Psychology and the Theater of the Oppressed to generate processes of individual and collective transformation. Specifically, the aims of the association are:
Facilitate access to culture, art and participation as a fundamental right.
Promote permanent interaction with other organizations and groups that share similar objectives and create a network at national, European and international level.
Take an active role in projects aimed at promoting participation and solving one’s own problems in the following areas:
Childhood and youth in and out of school.
Old people.
Women and the LGTBIQA collective with special attention to the awareness and prevention of violence against women and the LGTBIQA collective and the questioning of the patriarchal system.
Racialized, migrant and refugee collective with special attention to raising awareness and preventing violence against racialized, migrant and refugee people.
Other groups at risk of social exclusion and the population in general, to promote citizen participation, active citizenship and the development of critical thinking as a tool to make visible and combat all forms of discrimination and inequality, as well as to value coexistence in diversity and the culture of peace.<\/p>

Put Participatory Methodologies, Process-Oriented Psychology and the Theater of the Oppressed at the service of making the different forms of discrimination and social inequality visible through workshops on the multiplication of tools to referents in their neighborhoods and groups, research and the training of trainers<\/p><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>

Interculturality, racism, xenophobia, social inclusion and integration.
Education, school dropout, prevention of risk behaviors among young people.
Gender, equality policies and sexual diversity.
We develop European projects and international cooperation.
We research and innovate in social transformation methodologies.
